Questions we actually get asked

Does my tenant need to download an app to use this?

No. The invite link opens in any browser — Chrome, Safari, whatever. Your tenant can sign in with Google and upload photos from the web. If they want the native experience on their phone, they can install the app later. But you can't block anyone from joining by saying "they didn't install the app."
Is it really free? What's the catch?

No catch. We're in beta and we want landlords using the product so we can improve it. When we introduce paid tiers, we'll notify you 30 days in advance and you'll never be cut off mid-rental. Beta users will get a better price than new signups.
What happens to my move-in photos? Can they be deleted?

Photos are stored on Supabase (secure cloud storage). Once a move-in proof set is submitted by the tenant, it's locked — neither landlord nor tenant can edit or delete individual photos. The set stays attached to the rental record permanently, even after the rental ends.
My tenant paid cash. Can I still log it?

Yes. When marking a payment, you choose the method: UPI, bank transfer, cash, or cheque. For UPI and bank transfers you can add the UTR reference number. For cash you can add a note. Everything gets a timestamp and a record in the payment history.
Are the HRA receipts valid for tax filing?

The generated PDF includes all required fields for HRA exemption under Section 10(13A): landlord name, PAN number, tenant name, property address, period, amount, and payment method. We recommend you also get your landlord to confirm the PAN is correct in their profile before generating.
What if I have 3 tenants in a PG — can I manage all of them?

Yes. When creating a property, choose "PG / Hostel" and you can add multiple units (rooms). Each room gets its own invite link, its own tenant, its own rent amount, and its own proof photos. You manage them all from one landlord dashboard.
